It is a dyneema/fiberglass-shelled Icon full face motorcycle helmet with the outer shell and chin bar a single piece design for added strength. The dyneema/fiberglass construction achieves an outer shell that is tough enough to absorb impacts and resist penetration.
And, it's able to spread and dissipate impact energy through strength, structural integrity and impact flexibility, all of which no doubt contributes to achieving ECE/Snell/DOT approved motorcycle helmet certification.
Icon helmet design also gives the outer shell stylish molded-in recessed side chin bar spoilers intended to create vacuum for hot air extraction via dual diagonal exhaust slots positioned inside the recesses.
Producing the tight girlie exterior for this women's full face motorcycle helmet starts with the sanded smooth outer shell receiving a coat of premium silver paint that provides the base. After the paint is baked and dried, the outer shell is covered with the carefully hand applied custom silver and pink motorcycle helmet graphic kit.
The graphics are die cut in such a way as to leave the silver painted finish exposed around the front top half of the chin bar, around the lower rear of the helmet and on the forehead, which is adorned with an "Icon Moto" decal sticker done in pink-outlined funky 1960s style white lettering.
On the sidepanels of this women's full face motorcycle helmet, the graphic composition includes two sweeping wave-like silver lines across the chin bar that continue around to the back of the helmet. Another silver line winds its way around the temple area, then around the shield pivot area and heads to the back of the helmet. There is also a sprinkling of silver stars, mostly emanating up and back from the shield pivot area.
In the back, there is a sexy female silhouette inside a large star shape created by the die cut of the decal sticker. Up top are painted-to-match silver twin super vent diffusers, the tops of which are covered pink stars included with the graphic kit. To keep the exterior of this factory custom painted motorcycle helmet looking good, the finish process includes clear coats for a deep scratch-resistant finish.
The twin top mounted super vent diffusers are a motorcycle racing helmet ventilation system technology, intended to deliver superior airflow inside the helmet through ram-air forehead intake ports combined with the super vent Venturi cooling system created by the large flow-through air tunnels formed by the diffuser bodies. The ram-air intake ports are adjustable to control ventilation by way of a switch between the diffusers that cleverly functions as a secondary ram-air forehead intake vent.
There is also a positive-lock front chin vent. The top diffusers maximize airflow by pulling air entering through the chin bar vent, when open, up and out of the helmet. Molded-in lower left and right side rear air scoops also helps pull air out of the helmet through the two rear exhaust vents. The side exhaust vents are controlled via an internal on/off cheek exhaust switch.
This women's full face motorcycle helmet from Icon also features a big eyeport design for maximum visibility. The large eyeport is covered by an optically correct pink/clear gradient polycarbonate, seven-position shield that offers safe, clear vision and an easy no-tool replacement system. To help make flip-ups easier, a fingertip recess is molded-in to the chin bar below the left side finger tab on the bottom of the shield.
Flexible white rubber gasket wraps around the eyeport and fits against the face shield for a tight fit, less shield noise. This full face motorcycle helmet also comes with a removable breath deflector to prevent shield fogging.
The Pink Icon Mainframe Bombshell GoGo helmet interior is ergonomically engineered for outstanding comfort and durability. It holds a dual density styrene inner shell that conforms to your head shape for a perfect fit. The gray interior is luxurious and includes a deluxe padded comfort liner and fully removable and washable extra-thick cheek pads featuring a dual-textured lining design.
Breathable gray mesh nylon wraps around the top edge of the helmet interior and around the edges of the cheek pads to enhance air flow. For comfort, the lining that can touch your skin and scalp is soft, brushed gray nylon microfiber spangled with small black stars.
